Lowe and Fletcher are one of the UK's largest lock manufacturers and lock suppliers. We specialise in the design and manufacture of a wide range of locking systems for industry. We are part of an international group, supplying more than 50 million products each year. Alongside the production of our traditional locks and locking component range, we specialise in co-operative customer projects, designed to meet the needs of our customers across a broad range of markets in the UK, Europe and Worldwide. Established in 1889, we are still a privately owned and controlled group, which gives us a strong family ethos and a long term commitment to our business and our customers.
We manufacture and supply globally as a member of the Lowe & Fletcher and Euro-Locks group.
Lock Suppliers since 1889
We have certainly come a long way since Mr Lowe and Mr Fletcher began their family lock making business in Willenhall, England, in 1889! They founded a business as lock suppliers based on meeting their customers’ security needs, and that principle is carried on today by their fifth generation descendents. Our staff of 800 work closely together, producing both traditional mechanical and innovative new electronic locks.
Today we are suppliers of a vast range of specialised locking systems, that are purpose designed to meet the many different needs of our customers: alarms; bicycles; cash tills; computers; control panels; data cabinets; dustbins; fuel pumps; gaming consoles; garage doors; gun cabinets; letter boxes; lockers; office furniture; panniers; power supplies; safes; street furniture; top boxes; tow hitches; vending machines; water taps; wheel clamps; and many more.
Being premier lock suppliers, we specialise in bespoke customer solutions. Our teams of dedicated sales and design engineers work with our customers to determine their locking requirement. Our specialist input at an early stage in the project can lead to a very effective final solution that is efficient in both method and cost. If the requirement cannot be met from one of our many existing products, then we will propose a dedicated design.
