We are delighted to announce that, since launching five years ago, your Chamber’s Patronage Scheme has proved a real success with 32 Patrons from a diverse range of industries now signed up to the programme.
The Patronage Scheme is an integral part of our support structure to you, our Members, and is designed to offer exclusive and enhanced opportunities for local businesses to promote their services to other businesses across the region and beyond, and to express commitment to the success of the Shropshire business community as a whole. The scheme offers Patrons a range of benefits additional to those enjoyed by Members, including high level networking opportunities through the Executive Forums, , exclusive discounts, access to special events and unrivalled brand awareness.
Our Patrons were provided with a number of unique opportunities throughout 2014, including a visit to the European Parliament in Brussels, where they met the British Ambassador and several MEP’s. The visit also provided a valuable chance to network with other Patrons, as well as to understand the ‘Single Market’ opportunities for business in Europe. In addition to the formal events, Patrons have been offered the chance to attend numerous social gatherings this year, including the simply spectacular ‘Cirque du Ciel’ at the Theatre Severn. There is already a range of social meetings scheduled for 2014, including the annual Gala Dinner at the University of Wolverhampton.
